Back in action, with the occasional slip-up...

Olá! Como vai? It's been a few months since my last post, which is a giant mistake on my part. I have not been sharing my foreign language learning journey as I wanted to. Instead, I have been "studying" on my own, except for recently. Recently I decided to take some lessons from a professional tutor. I began around late October of 2018, outubro in Portuguese, and have enjoyed it quite a lot. Currently, I'm using Italki to meet and schedule online lessons with my tutor.

I won't go into too much detail about it, but it's an online tool that I would recommend to anyone. Italki is an online community for foreign language learners where you can meet other learners, natives and of course tutors. Using their software you can browse through a great selection of Community and Professional tutors with whom you can have one on one lessons. They have nearly every language under the sun, and the community is quite helpful, making it a perfect resource for learning foreign languages which I would recommend to anyone looking to improve their skills.

I said that I wouldn't go into too much detail, but it's so difficult not to. I really do love this software, and I hope you will as well. Moving onwards, I have found one on one lessons with a tutor has in fact greatly helped with my pronunciation, grammar and even with the cultures associated with the language itself. It has also helped me to deal with my code-mixing problem. Granted it hadn't been as bad since I'd stopped learning Spanish AND Portuguese at the same time, but there were some minor slip-ups every once in a while.
